Can anyone advise on the affects of using permanent marker on top of and/or underneath oil paint?

Really what I want to know is will it come through the paint, will paint take on top of marker and will I be able to draw on top of dry paint ok?Can anyone advise on the affects of using permanent marker on top of and/or underneath oil paint?
You can draw under oil paint and over oil paint (if the paint is dry).


It is unlikely the marker ink would bleed through the oil paint.
