Oil is not as bad as acrylic paint. Acrylic paint is practically impossible to remove.

Soak your brushes in some kind of turpentine for about 24 hrs, than try to break them and move the hair around as much as possible. When they get loose soak them a little more and move them around more. After a little while they will loosen up, clean them more with turpentine and shape them. When they don't want to stay the shape I want them to I leave some soap on them and let them dry. that usually helps them keep shape. How can i remove dried up oil paint on my paint brushes?
you cant get that stuff out once it's dried on there. make a habit of washing your paint brushes right after you use them. it'll save you time and money. like vpytko said, get some new brushes.
It's a tough process but paint thinner should do the trick. After you've removed all the paint then wash your brush thoroughly with warm water and hand soap.
Don't bother. Buy new brushes.
