How to remove an oil base paint from cement driveway?

My husband painted the floor of our garage with garage floor paint. He went over the edge and decided to paint some of the driveway. It looks awful when the garage door is closed. There is a dark gray strip going across the top of the driveway. Please tell me there is a way to remove it. It looks trashy and I don't think the HOA will be happy about it, because I'm not. Please help! How to remove an oil base paint from cement driveway?
I have some experience with this, as a painting contractor. As careful as one can be to not let stray drops get on cement, sometimes it happens.

Lacquer thinner will also raise/remove oil based paint. It will soften and lift it, and then you may need to use muratic acid to get up any of the residual staining that may have penetrated into the pores of the concrete, depending on how old/ smooth the concrete is.How to remove an oil base paint from cement driveway?
There are commercial paint removers that will remove oil-based paint from cement, paint, etc.

A water-soluble one may be the easiest to use.

Ask at your local hardware/home building supply store. They will help you to choose an appropriate one.
