Any ideas on how to get oil paint off a couch?

My daughter got some on our couch, I don't want to get a new couch because we bought the set in Germany and we really love it.Any ideas on how to get oil paint off a couch?
First test check at the back of the sofa with a paint thinner or a varsol for durability of cloth. Then try on the paint spot. Use paper towel and iron to take out the traces of paint until the paper comes clean. Needs a lot of patience.

You can use turpentine. If you like the smell, it is a good solvent.

You can use drycleaner's solvent. BBS. (Beg, borrow, steel). No smell.Any ideas on how to get oil paint off a couch?
Go to the pain store and tell them, they usually have a product called ';oops'; that will do an excellent job.
Mineral spirits, but first check in inconspicuous area.
