What is the best way to prep aluminum for oil paint?

I am using aluminum sheet and Winsor %26amp; Newton Oil Paint. I don't want it to flake off. What is the best way to prep aluminum for oil paint?
Sand the metal. Then clean the metal with denatured alcohol. Aluminum oxidizes very rapidly. This rapid oxidization is what actually protects it from further deterioration from atmospheric oxygen. It forms a protective layer. When in contact with water, copper and lead primers (red lead especially) are not recommended as they corrode the aluminum. Use EP Epoxy Primer-Surfacer as a primer. Wet sand with 400-600 grit wet sandpaper after surfacer has dried for 8-10 hours.
