How do you clean oil paint off of brushes?

what is a way to eget oil paint off brushes?? i dont want to go buy something, so like a home remidy owuld be good. How do you clean oil paint off of brushes?
Oil paint is is very strong but the oil will disolve in a non polar solvent ie paint thinner (duh) but any petroleum based cleanser will work like turpinetine (which you should have if working with oil paints) nail polish remover, goof off ect. Soap wont get it all out and ruin your nice expensive brushes so if you dont have any of that stuff just go get paint thinner its only like 2 bucks plus tax at the local hardware storeHow do you clean oil paint off of brushes?
Well if you can make paint thinner at home you are in luck because that is what you need to clean your brushes. But if you can't make it then buy a bottle and put it in a glass jar and you can use it over and over again. Also once you get the paint off your brushes then use detergent and some hot water to really get them clean and it will also keep them softer by finishing with soap and water. After You use the thinner.
