I went to an exhibiton where the artist had made reflected rainbows of light with oil paint. How is it possible to create light on black and rainbows ?How do you make rainbow colours with oil paint?
I've never used oils but i would assume that mixing is done with similar application as with any other medium. white mixed with the respective colours to give the effect of lightness and very lightly in the desired areas to give off the effect of translucence in the picture.
