What happens if a little bit of oil paint is still on my skin after washing?

Just to add, I'm 13What happens if a little bit of oil paint is still on my skin after washing?
It's not gonna hurt you, if that's what you're asking. Just clean it off as best you can don't lick your hand and elbow :) It'll work it's way off your skin in a couple days. What happens if a little bit of oil paint is still on my skin after washing?
I don't think you have anything to worry about. Artists most concerned with poisoning are carreer professionals who need to be extra-careful because they expose themselves to potentially toxic materials every day for decades. It's very hard to acutely poison yourself with a single exposure to paint on the skin. The risk of poisoning through percutaneous (skin) absorption is very slight with most colors, though any associated risk increases with frequency, over a number of years.

All oil paints have small amounts of driers added, which can contain cobalt and sometimes lead, so it's a good idea to keep them off your skin in general. Lead and cadmium-based pigments carry more risk (especially for children), but will take a long time to build to toxic levels. Lead is particularly risky, because the body takes it up in the same routes as calcium, only faster; this results in lead being stored long-term in bone marrow and affecting the nervous system. Unlike other trace metals and minerals, lead has no beneficial function in the body, and the body has no mechanism for eliminating it.

Washing with soap is generally a good practice, but recent studies have shown the type of soap used can affect whether washing helps or hurts in removing heavy metals. For the majority of painters who don't use lead paints, washing with soap is just fine.
I doubt it very much . You can remove it by using a litle paint thinner and then wash the thinner off with soap and water. Not to worry .You will be fine.
just use soap and water and itll go- not straight away but in the next few hours
yes
