Which will accelerate the drying of oil paint more?

Air flow, or heat?

i.e. if I want my door to dry the quickest, should I have a fan or a radiant heater sitting in the room?

Thanks!Which will accelerate the drying of oil paint more?
Careful! If you try to dry oilbase too quickly it may well bubble or crackle. Heat is definatly not good as it softens the paint and oilbase needs to harden in order to dry and a fan may cause the suface to dry before the underlying paint cures. Best to just let it take its own time to dry. The longer it takes to dry the better/harder it drys.

PS in the future, if you want it to dry quicker just thin it with a bit of paint thinner and that will cause it to evaporate and cure faster.Which will accelerate the drying of oil paint more?
fan good luck

have fun

for faster drying with oils, a combination of heat and air movement is needed.

Use Both
