How long does it take for oil paint to dry?

So I'm doing this pain-by-number thing, and using oil paints. I got the kit several years ago, so the paint was pretty thick, and I had to add some Linseed Oil to it.

How long is this going to take to dry?? It's already been 14 hours. How long does it take for oil paint to dry?
As far as oil paint-by-numbers go... two to three days, but wait a week before framing. How long does it take for oil paint to dry?
It depends on the brand of paint, the oil used as a vehicle and the color. 6 months is the standard drying period before oil paint is considered fully dry however most colors will dry to touch within a couple of days. Linseed oil dries faster than safflower, poppy or walnut oil. The paint as it comes from the manufacturer may not be linseed oil based. Many brands are being made with safflower and poppy oils. Earth colors dry faster than those with more white and the cadmiums. Blacks take longer than other colors.

Some manufacturers add a drier to certain colors and aim for a uniform behavior across their full range of colors sold in a line of paint. There are driers available that you can add but the tendency is to use too much which will result in cracking. Never use more than a proportion of 20% medium to 80% paint. It is best to use considerably less. With a drier, the smallest amount added to a paint daub (the little pile of paint you mix up on the palette) is all that is required.
too long.

stick to acrylics.
